1. Jaclyn Hill is accused of lying about her almost-abduction.

The beauty YouTuber shared her disturbing story via Twitter, where she claimed that two men tried to pull her into a car when she was alone outside. And while the comments section was immediately flooded with an outpouring of well-wishes and concern, the Internet also communicated their distrust — citing the incident as  mightily convenient timing since Hill was recently criticised for her product’s non-inclusive shade range.

Fellow influencer, Kevin James Bennett, took to Twitter to express just that. “Interesting. Attempted abduction outside her home, as her company is dragged across social media for an intentional lack of inclusivity,” he wrote. “I truly hope nothing actually happened, but this reads like Jaclyn’s usual gaslighting to get her out of trouble. Police Report, please?” Hill later took to Twitter once more to defend herself, asserting that it was “absolutely disgusting” that people think she’s lying. “You are the reason why so many people don’t speak up about things that happen to them,” she stated.

2. Johnson & Johnson recalls some of their sunscreens.

This includes five Aveeno and Neutrogena aerosol sunscreens, where internal testing on the conglomerate’s part uncovered the presence of benzene — a low-level carcinogen — in said products. It applies specifically to the Aveeno Protect + Refresh; Neutrogena Beach Defense; Neutrogena Cool Dry Sport; Neutrogena Invisible Daily; and the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer.

The company has since released a statement, proclaiming that “based on exposure modeling and the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) framework, daily exposure to benzene in these aerosol sunscreen products at the levels detected in our testing would not be expected to cause adverse health consequences.”

3. Stormi Webster has a secret brand in the works.

Yes, we are talking about beauty mogul Kylie Jenner’s offspring, here. This was disclosed via Inside Kylie Cosmetics; a YouTube series documenting Jenner’s journey within the skincare and makeup space. And while Jenner has stayed mum as to if her three-year-old’s company will be situated within the same field, users are speculating that so thanks to the repeat emphasis on Stormi’s fascination with cosmetics. We suppose we’ll just have to wait and see.

4. Lizzo dyed her bleached eyebrows.

Lavender and pink, for that matter. The songbird debuted the look on Instagram, with the caption: “Another day another glam… Another look for ya mood board. Thank me later.” According to Alexx Mayo — the MUA responsible for said arches — the pair took inspiration from gummy bears to create this pastel-saturated aesthetic. We’d like to thank this dynamic duo for their service.

5. Jada Pinkett-Smith has shaved her head.

This decision was apparently a long-time coming. Pinkett-Smith revealed that she did it in response to her persistent-struggle with hair-loss issues, where her daughter’s encouragement finally gave her the strength to go through with it. The mother-daughter duo are pictured sporting matching buzz-cuts in an Instagram post. “Willow made me do it because it was time to let go BUT … my 50’s are ’bout to be Divinely lit with this shed,” she wrote. Indeed, Jada.
