As the joke goes, the two best days in a boat owner’s life are the day they buy a boat and the day they sell it. Ready to become one and make it your best day? Just in case you were about to rush out and spend a few millions on the hottest toy among the elite or maybe simply to enjoy the marina vibes and take a glimpse inside the ultra-luxe world of the super-yachts, head to The ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove this weekend.

The Singapore Yachting Festival is back for the second edition from April 25 to 28. It displays 70 yachts from the leading luxury shipyards. All biggest names in boat brokerage are here. We toured the decks and pick yachts that certainly raised a few eyebrows.

HH 88 CRAZY LOVE
It’s crazy! …and you’ll love it!The inspiration behind the name of one of the world’s largest, all-carbon luxury cruising catamarans came from the song of Hawaiian band Pepper. As the yacht’s owner shares on the YouTube channel chronicling the vessel’s construction, he and his wife listened to it a lot when they started dating. Quite romantic, isn’t it?

Designed by California-based naval architects Morrelli & Melvin, the new HH88 is safe, stylish, comfortable and gives the look and feel of a true superyacht. Layouts and styling are completely customizable. “Crazy Love” can accommodate 10 guests and four crew members. Styling is luxurious, highlighted by illuminated granite with carbon details and lightweight foam-cored furniture with high gloss mahogany veneer and decorative cored veneers in drawer and cupboard fronts.

The luxury charter vessel features internal and external flybridge access, 5 luxury VIP Suites, an 8 person jacuzzi on the flybridge, fully air-conditioned flybridge from where all helm control is from, and enough solar and battery power to accommodate guests in ‘silent mode’ (without gensets running) through the night.

AZIMUT MAGELLANO 60
Eco friendly luxury yacht with Italian feel

Presented initially at the Cannes Yachting Festival last year, this award-winning yacht is making its debut in Asia. Magellano 60 is environmentally-conscious boat making as little impact on the environment as possible and being ready to face any weather conditions.

It sets a new standard for environmental responsibility being the first Azimut boat to run on HVO, a biofuel produced by Eni Live (Eni Sustainable Mobility) using 100% renewable raw materials, which  significantly reduces well-to-wake CO2 emissions.

Promising visually immersive experience, Azimut’s Magellano series is all about enjoying navigation and exploration. Described as “an ode to freedom and elegance”, Magellano 60 is a crossover that gracefully expresses an explorer spirit boosted by the navigational prowess of a Dual Mode hull. The cockpit is large and extends longitudinally to leave the aft glass parapet free, which offers a spectacular view of the horizon. The table can be raised transforming the terrace into a pleasant dining area.
