Victoire de Castellane celebrates the new additions to Dior’s Rose des Vents collection with another fun campaign
The charming Dior Rose des Vents fine jewellery collection has recently welcomed new additions to the family, this time featuring two coloured disks. One of the disks pays tribute to Christian Dior's favourite compass rose motif, and is adorned with the star in gold.
Victoire de Castellane, creative director of Dior Joaillerie, had first created the collection in 2015 to honour the maison's founder. Mr Dior had grown up in Granville, in a house called Les Rhumbs, named for the 32 points on the compass. Years later, he would find a star on the roads of Paris, taking it as a sign that he should open his couture house. The rest, as clichéd as it sounds, is history.
The fine jewellery collection has since grown from strength to strength, becoming a pillar within the Dior joaillerie family. For this collection launch, de Castellane has also illustrated a quirky video campaign, featuring her and Mr Dior hula hooping with the Rose des Vents bracelets - adorable!
