A signature creation in the watchmaker’s women’s collection combats the perils of modern technology

With an in-house movement manufactured by Ulysse Nardin, the mechanical self-winding, 36mm Jade is part of the ladies collection by the luxury watchmaker. Delicate and sensual, the signature piece marks the first time that the movement is made exclusively for the ladies.

No pushing and pulling is needed if you wish to set the date and time, making its design unique. Now the real highlight of the signature timepiece is the silicium technology that is used to create the base calibre, wheels and anchor within. This invention was first seen in another of Ulysse Nardin's creations known as Freak. Unconventional, yet efficient, the material is immune to close contact with magnetism, a usual occurrence when in contact with mobile phones.

The case of the timepiece is covered in 18-carat rose gold, accompanied by a white mother-of-pearl dial. A total of 78 diamonds, measuring 1.176 carats frame the case, crown and are set in the dial, adding a touch of sophistication to the elegant creations. All completed with a sapphire crystal glass and a leather bracelet, the delicate and sensual nature of the creations simply shines through.
