How to walk down the aisle in Chaumet à la Korean actress Min Hyo-rin
Saying I do just this past weekend, K-pop megastar Taeyang and actress Min Hyo-rin tied the knot in what the Korean media has dubbed the 'wedding of the year', replete with a bevy of A-list guests and a woodland-decorated venue inspired by Twilight. While everyone was fixated on the dreamy silk faille creation that was the bridal gown, those with the magpie eye surely gravitated to the glittering tiara perched on Min's head.
Attached to a flowing, floral-embellished wedding veil, it was none other than Chaumet's Joséphine Aigrette Impériale diadem that was the centrepiece in the new Mrs Taeyang's bridal parure — you know, if you've been Googling around to find out which maisons dressed her. More than fit for one half of Korea's power couple, Min's pared back hairstyle displayed the white gold headpiece in all its brilliant-cut diamond glory. Also, you have to give her props for picking a piece that's technically not part of Chaumet's famed bridal collections and appropriating it for her big day.
And with the news of their nuptials trending something fierce on the Internet, it wouldn't be a far stretch to see the very same Joséphine Aigrette Impériale diadem popping up in wedding marches among other soon-to-be brides getting hitched in style.
Here's the closeup for all the bridezillas out there if you're tiara hunting:
