Check out the new and improved Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon Connected Watch
Two years ago, Louis Vuitton launched the Tambour Horizon, a connected watch that combines the best of horology and technology, so it's not just super smart but super stylish too. And with travel being so central to Louis Vuitton's ethos, the Tambour Horizon offered something no other connected watch on the market did: The Louis Vuitton City Guides. Alongside other handy features such as 'My Flight' and a host of Google powered apps, this fully customisable watch allows you to toggle between several digital watch dials from the automatic to the chronograph to the emblematic Escale World Time. But this was two years ago.
Two years later, Louis Vuitton is back with Version 2.0 of the Tambour Horizon. Four core models make up the new collection. Mostly unisex, there is the Tambour Horizon Monogram Eclipse in polished stainless steel, the Tambour Horizon Matte Black in black PVD-coated steel, the Tambour Horizon Monogram Brown in brown PVD-coated steel, and the Tambour Horizon Pure White in white polished ceramic. This is the first time that the Louis Vuitton is offering the Tambour Horizon in white ceramic, and there are diamond-set as well as non-diamond-set versions available.
On top of these new case materials, Louis Vuitton has also unveiled new exclusive content that include additional customisable watch faces (canvas, stripes, Monogram or Damier patterns), a 'My Travel' face that displays flight, train, hotel and other travel information, a 'My 24 hours' face that displays 24 time zones, step counter, your agenda, a pollution indicator, the weather and ambient temperature. Of course, the LV City Guide app comes fully downloaded.
Owners of the new Tambour Horizon Connected Watch will also be able to continually access new watch faces designed by the Louis Vuitton Studios in exclusive collaborations. With Virgil Abloh at the helm, you can safely assume there'll be much and more in store.
Meanwhile, celebrities who have gotten on board with this timely traveller include Sophie Turner, Justin Theroux, Urassaya Sperbund, and Liu Haoran. Check them out in the new Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon campaign. Another famous face due to join the quartet is Ethiopian supermodel Liya Kebede.
