Kanye West’s tattoo artist collaborates with Hublot
Under the needle
Amongst Hublot's many collaborations, the Big Bang Sang Bleu is by far its most audacious yet. Maxime Büchi — tattoo artist to the stars and founder of Sang Bleu London Tattoo Studio — has transformed Hublot's beacon of masculinity into an intriguing horological puzzle.
Daringly different from any of its predecessors with Büchi's distinctive geometrics, the titanium bezel of the Big Bang Sang Bleu takes hexogonal form — sized at 45mm, and beveled to achieve the creative eye's vision. Three octagonal shaped diagrams sit upon the jet black dial, and tells the time as such: The largest rotating octagon indicates the hours with a white tip, while the smaller, inner diagram follows suit for minutes.
Büchi's expertise hardly stops there — his inscriptions also extend to the watch's calfskin and rubber watch strap. Fuelled with a mighty power reserve of 72 hours, Hublot has just birthed its most impressive — and badass — Big Bang yet.
Hublot is available exclusively at The Hour Glass and Hublot boutiques in South East Asia.
