Hermès Faubourg Manchette: Leather bound
The inspiration behind the latest additions to the Faubourg collection draws from the brand's rich history

2014 was the year that Hermès brought the world the Faubourg collection. A year on, the French luxury house gets in touch with its roots as a saddle and harness maker and reinvents the timepiece with a leather cuff and presents us with the Faubourg Manchette.

The latest update brings both masculinity and femininity to the timepieces. An array of colours and textures may make it difficult to choose just one. If a rose gold case is what you're after, then choose between smooth cuffs in Havana, agate, red, black, ultraviolet, geranium or elephant grey alligator leather. In a steel case, the timepiece is paired with grained calf leather in Barénia, electric blue, iris, orange or red.

Another nod to the brand's history is in the Hermès saddle stitching that is seen on the cuff. The leather, unlike metal, sits comfortably like a second skin around the wrist. The dial of each timepiece also comes with one diamond, which is displayed behind a glare-proof sapphire crystal glass.

The Hermès Faubourg Manchette is now available at all Hermès stores.
