Harry Winston shines a light on true romance with the Premier Precious Love timepiece
Hearts all around
Declarations of love span the gamut from thoughtful and sincere to loud and flashy, yet we can't help recalling the famous lyric 'you say it best when you say nothing at all' — you know, from a certain cult '90s rom-com movie — upon laying eyes on the Harry Winston Premier Precious Love. Between the dazzling kaleidoscope of diamonds, heart-shaped rubies and blush-hued mother-of-pearl dial, this is a silent language of love articulated in haute horlogerie form.
Embellished along and within a 36mm-sized white gold frame, these exquisite precious stones draw the eye in, pulling one's gaze inexorably to the rose motif decorating the top half of the dial, captured in bloom with heart-shaped petals traced by the hour and minute hands. Bursting forth from this centrepiece floral are silvered rays emphasised by 10 stunning rubies and petite brilliant-cut diamonds dotted among the fiery hearts — an intensive labour of love handworked by Harry Winston's expert craftsmen as the fragile mother-of-pearl had to be precisely cut out to frame each gem. Inherently glorious in all its Cupid-struck elements, the Premier Precious Love is accompanied by the precision-engineered calibre HW2014 automatic mechanical movement, manufactured with a silicon balance spring and finished with a circular Côtes de Genève decoration. And just like the hallowed day of lovers it embodies, the watch is limited to only 14 exclusive pieces. Who says a picture-perfect romance can't be bought?
The Premier Precious Love is available at Harry Winston boutiques, limited to 14 pieces.
