Glashütte re-introduces two of its Senators
Cast your votes, watch aficionados, for Glashütte has announced two additions to their Original boutique line-up. These new models are not unfamiliar to those who've always faithfully supported the German watch manufacturer. The Senator Perpetual Calendar and the Senator Panorama Date Moon Phase are indeed the timepieces in question that get an azure upgrade, expanding Glashütte's growing haute horlogerie selection.
These distinguished Senators have been re-dressed in a scintillating suit of blue — a perfected shade obtained from a precisely administered galvanic bath submersion. Glowing with an incandescent sheen, the new dials are created in Glashütte Original's in-house dial manufactory in the southwest German town of Pforzheim. This singular shade of intense blue and its refined finish requires up to 40 separate processes, all overseen with the careful expertise of the manufactory team.
Framed by gleaming stainless steel cases and fitted with alligator leather straps in a complementary dark navy hue, both the Senator Perpetual Calendar and the Senator Panorama Date Moon Phase are sleek, contemporary classics that will be holding office for years to come.
The new blue Senators will be available exclusively at the Glashütte Original boutique at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands.
