Farfetch expands beyond the fashion sphere to include luxury watches and fine jewellery in its online stable of brands

Who doesn't love a good partnership, especially when it means the result of said collaboration enriches our retail experience? Enter Farfetch as they link up with the likes of leading jewellery names Tiffany & Co., De Beers, David Yurman, Pomellato, and Chopard to change the way you shop for your bling. An expansion that sees the fashion-centric online platform growing its portfolio to provide more offerings for its shoppers, the partnership also introduces watch brands such as Zenith, Girard-Perregaux, Tag Heuer, Ulysse Nardin, Zenith, and Bell & Ross into the Farfetch marketplace.

Levying on the online portal's global reach and established customer base (they ship to over 100 countries), this coalition will see the aforementioned luxury brands reaching a wider audience with collections and styles that are either hard-to-get or exclusive to Farfetch. For instance, Chopard will launch with a capsule collection unique to the site. Elaborates Giorgio Belloli, head of commercial and sustainability at Farfetch: "We are thrilled to be launching hard luxury on Farfetch with such an incredible line-up of brands. This move is a natural extension to the unrivalled range we already offer lovers of fashion around the world."

Translated into consumer speak, it means we now have access to more labels and categories, which is totes a win if you're into curating an entire look that includes a watch or jewellery pieces to match that spiffy pantsuit or casual Sunday outfit sitting in your shopping cart. Or if you're just starting to dip your toe into haute horlogerie and joaillerie, this is a great way to browse, explore and indulge for the burgeoning magpies and horophiles.
