Montblanc brings Fan Bingbing onboard as their new Bohème lady
Beauty people will argue she's got a face more suited for fronting makeup than haute horlogerie but Montblanc begs to differ. There's much more to Fan Bingbing than just her fair face, in spite of what her longtime contract with beauty giant L'Oréal might say. And here to spotlight a different facet to the actress is Montblanc, announcing Fan as its new global brand ambassador whose charismatic femininity perfectly embodies the house's 'Bohème spirit' and the Bohème collection.
While she's primarily known for her accomplishments and acclaim in the Chinese film and television industry, the actress is invested in various different areas outside of acting, with interest and knowledge in fashion, philanthropy and business — the quintessential modern woman who juggles many hats at once. As characterised by Montblanc CEO Nicolas Baretzki, Fan has "self-confidence, determination and independence" in spades, which are qualities that exemplify the unique character of the 'Bohème lady'.
On this note, Fan adds on: "I believe self- confidence lies at the heart of the 'Bohème spirit'. Trusting yourself and daring to follow your heart is what allows the modern woman's inner light to shine through. I'm honoured to have been invited to be the Bohème line ambassador so that I can impart the 'Bohème spirit' to a greater number of independent, courageous modern women."
She joins fellow Chinese actor Yang Yang on the international stage shared by longtime Montblanc ambassadors Hugh Jackman and Charlotte Casiraghi, and will be collaborating with the maison to produce a captivating commercial that will showcase the unique style and intellectual achievements of the Bohème woman.
