Rooted deeply in Christian Dior’s past, the collection brings his love for the ocean and flora to the world

The La Rose des vents by Dior is a collection that traces its roots all the way back to the designer's childhood in Granville, France. It was also the place that started his passion for flowers (in particularly the rose) that he grew himself.

The collection features Christian Dior's two favourite motifs — the star and rose. The star — a symbol of travel and a talisman for good-luck — embodies the history of the Maison perfectly. In a myriad of materials, the necklaces and bracelets pay tribute to the ocean. Set in white rose or yellow gold, the medallions are paired with materials such as mother-of-pearl, lapis lazuli and onyx.

The collection also features three yellow gold sautoirs with lapis lazuli, turquoise and mother-of-pearl. Each medallion is encircled with a twist of gold rice grains and shows off either the hardstone or wind rose face hanging from a chain. Short or long, the necklaces and matching bracelets will be the stars of your ensembles.
