The language of flowers: Choo Yilin’s Sakura Collection

Meaningful blossoms

A unique bloom that symbolises the zest for life, the Sakura Collection is a exquisitely crafted expression of floriography

Elegant decorations, a gesture of love or goodwill, and fragrance inspiration. Flowers play such an integral part in our history that they've merited a language of their own. The art of floriography may be a secretive tongue, but homegrown award-winning label Choo Yilin has deciphered the significance of the distinctive cherry blossom into a wearable representation.

Choo Yilin Sakura Collection

Known as sakura to the Japanese, this exceptional yet short-lived bloom is a reminder of humanity and mortality; the precious sanctity of life to be embraced and lived out to the fullest while it's within our grasp. Even as the cherry blossom season fades, the wilting flowers retain their grace — a symbol of humankind's strength in the face of adversity.

Inspired by this singular blossom and its momentous connotations, Choo Yilin has translated its qualities into a finely wrought collection that celebrates love and life. Comprising of a jadeite bangle, necklace and earrings crafted with elaborate cherry blossom motifs in white rhodium and rose gold set with semi-precious gemstones, the Sakura Collection is a stunning floral icon that cherishes the spontaneity of life.

The limited edition Sakura Collection launches on 22 March online and at the Choo Yilin showroom.
