Chaumet relaunches its Ion Orchard and Marina Bay Sands boutiques

Double the glamour

The French jewellery house is back to bring about a Christmas fit for royalty

As the holiday season steadily approaches, Chaumet's timely relaunch offers the perfect chance for an early gift shopping. Not only can you avoid the crabby crowd of last-minute gift-hunters, you can also peacefully indulge in the lush ambience of the new spaces.

Design by renowned French architect Jean Michel Wilmotte, the boutiques' concept is uniquely contemporary yet cosy. The rich textured effect of backlit royal blue glass and dark bronze surfaces against subdued shades of cream spread throughout the interior; while custom light fixtures highlight the vivacity of Chaumet's jewellery and watches.

Think you've seen it all? Reconsider. Like any regal property, a 'secret' room or two is but a given. For more intimate consultations, a strategically positioned VIP salon is available at the back of each boutique — decked out with an upholstered velvet sofa and royal blue carpet.

The new boutiques will house Chaumet's latest collections, the Joséphine aigrette rings and the new Joséphine Eclat Floral cushion-cut diamond bangle and ring displayed together with existing collections like Jardins, Le Grand Frisson, Liens, Class One, Classics and Anneau. Rest assured, there'd be something for the missus.
