Colours of the Chaumet summer: The new creations from the Hortensia and Liens collections
A place in the sun
If your strategy for beating the heat is to stay close to a body of water (i.e. the pool, the ocean, the office's cold H20 dispenser) coupled with wearing as little clothing as possible for optimal ventilation, then you'll need to accessorise to look fabulous while you're at it. Going about dressing up with a different approach is Chaumet with its new Jeux de Liens and Hortensia Eden additions, shaded in all the bejewelled colours of summer so you can play the mixing and stacking game endlessly.
Whether you wear a few or a lot — click through the gallery above for some essential poolside lounging, jewellery wearing inspo — Chaumet's summer creations in graphic compositions and sunny hues will have you staying golden in the Singapore heat:
The most lushly floral collection from Chaumet blooms shapely new pieces in the form of necklaces, pendants, rings, ear studs, and even mini-watches discreetly designed to look like bracelets, thanks to sleek Milanese mesh straps polished to a mirror shine. Intended to nestle perfectly among the glittering posy clusters of malachite, carnelian, tiger's eye and turquoise permutations of the Hortensia, these horological adaptions mean you can look pretty and keep track of the time of day.
JEUX DE LIENS
Always brilliantly playful as Chaumet's signature symbol of summer, the Liens collection is once again turning out delicious lacquered shades, this time in garance red, tonique orange and tyrian pink. The recognisable cross-ribbon motif now comes in a double chain format and includes a beautiful sautoir necklace that combines all three colours to sit against the skin with an extra visual punch. The Liens Lumière gets an update too, in matching patent bracelets outfitting the watches.
The Hortensia Eden and Jeux de Liens collections are available at Chaumet boutiques.
