The Chanel Faubourg Saint-Honoré boutique reveals an ephemeral jewellery space
Chanel's love for drama once again bleeds into its space: Floating mannequins, emotive sculptures, a giant deconstructed birdcage — these are just a taste of what's to come. The ephemeral jewellery space serves as a preview presentation of the Maison's Comète Rock collection.
Decked in satiny pink lacquered walls, the fearlessly feminine space is countered with cascades of white leather camellias and pieces of a deconstructed birdcage scattered across. The scene also includes floating mannequins and champagne-hued ceruse-finished wood furniture that add to its dream-like veneer.
Stars of the stage are the Comète Rock pieces, displayed on avant-garde sculptures shaped into parts of the female body. Their feminine gestures make for an alluring display where a pair of lips holds a brooch or long necklaces are draped over a nude back. An ode to Coco Chanel's bold femininity and elegance, visit the ground floor of Faubourg Saint-Honoré boutique for a peek into Chanel's high jewellery psyche.
