The Panthère de Cartier first got our attention during SIHH 2017 where its sleek beauty was paraded among the press — believe you me, there was a fair bit of tussling to get some one-on-one time with the pieces — and now the collection has launched via an exclusive pop-up on Net-a-Porter. Besides debuting ahead of other retailers, the team-up between Cartier and the luxe shopping portal is the first of its kind, marking the maison hopping aboard the e-commerce platform with a partnership.

Featuring 12 models of this revitalised '80s icon that includes yellow, rose and white gold variations, as well as stunning diamond-studded editions, the month-long pop-up platform also stocks two unique timepieces that take after its feral namesake. Inspired by the panther's coat of fur, these limited edition watches riff off the spotted pattern with a bi-coloured rose gold watch interspersed with black lacquer, along with a dappled version lined entirely with brilliant diamonds. Utterly sophisticated, this curated edit on Net-a-Porter celebrates the timeless femininity of the Panthère de Cartier — and it doesn't get more exclusive (or accessible) than netting one of these babies ahead of everybody else.
