A saga of love and beauty: The Boucheron Epure d’Art Cypris
Surely the most iconic symbol that personifies grace and beauty, the timelessness of the swan is immortalised within Boucheron's Epure d'Art collection as two new timepiece additions.
Heralded as the emissary of Aphrodite, the goddess of love, the virtuous black and white pair of swans is aptly christened Cypris — in honour of the goddess and Cyprus, the Greek island from where she hailed. A homage to the deity of femininity, the Cypris collection is likewise rooted in the French maison's traditions, taking after founder Frédéric Boucheron's love for Mother Nature.
Lovingly crafted upon a Tahiti mother-of-pearl dial, a miniaturised swan glides over the watch face, arching its slim neck over a sweeping wing. Shimmering pearl and diamonds trace along its plumage, lighting up these delicately detailed timepieces with an iridescent, ethereal glow. The passage of time is marked across this elegant façade with the GP4000 Girard-Perregaux Manufacture calibre, a self-winding movement with a 40-hour power reserve personalised specially for Boucheron. Encircled within a 41mm white gold case set in a halo of diamonds and topped with a blue sapphire cabochon crown, the Epure d'Art Cypris is an everlasting splendour that cherishes life's every minutiae.
The Epure d'Art Cypris Collection is available at the Boucheron boutique.
