Guess who’s the new face of the Panthère de Cartier?
Cartier is now two for two when it comes to the famous name game as Annabelle Wallis comes onboard as the maison's newest ambassador, right on the heels of Jake Gyllenhaal taking on the role of the Santos de Cartier man. And if her blonde good looks strikes a chord with you, that'll be due to the British actress chalking up Hollywood street cred in 2017's The Mummy opposite Tom Cruise, and on the smaller screen has played Peaky Blinders' Grace Burgess and the third wife of King Henry the VIII in the period drama The Tudors.
Beyond her acting credits and English rose appearance though, Wallis is a cosmopolitan woman of the world who harbours an independent mind and a fearlessness that pushes her to reach greater heights — qualities Cartier has likened to the soul of a panther ready to sink its teeth into a good hunt. "I found that Panthère de Cartier resonates with the forces and energy that drive me as a woman," she states.
More than meets the eye, the new Panthère woman is also a polyglot who counts Portuguese, Spanish and French in her repertoire, a handy skill that will surely see her headlining more movies in the near future. But before any blockbuster drops, you'll first be catching Wallis in the digital campaign for the Panthère, shot by director Cass Bird for a debut slated in June. And as the face for both Panthère de Cartier watches and jewellery, she's the next It Brit you'll soon be seeing everywhere.
