Watch: Adwoa Aboah rocks the Astley Clarke Astronomy collection
Out of this world
A jewellery collection inspired by the celestial bodies doesn't need much to dazzle an audience, but having model of the moment Adwoa Aboah posing pretty in the pieces certainly propels the Astronomy collection to supernova status. The latest launch from Astley Clarke with the brand's new creative director Dominic Jones at the helm, the solar system-inspired series captures the beauty and mystique of the cosmos into unique pieces perfect for everyday wear.
As seen on Aboah in the campaign, the collection features iridescent stones that reflect each planetary body's distinct galactic lustre. Labradorite's shimmering blue is appropriated for its likeness to Jupiter, while Mars is carved from a piece of ruby and of course, not forgetting our home planet — fully paved with sapphires to represent the oceans and green glass enamel for the land. A little pearl completes the detailed creation, much like the moon orbiting around Earth. Touches of diamonds accompany each jewellery piece, embellished upon necklace chains or set into bands, appearing like a brilliant scattering of stars. Perfectly miniaturising the wondrous night sky, the Astley Clarke Astronomy collection is the star power to bling out in.
