#FirstClassFriday: The Cartier Juste un Clou collection

Get a Clou

Defying conventions since the ‘70s, Cartier now introduces new additions to the iconic Juste un Clou collection

There's magic in the everyday, especially when you're beholding a piece of Cartier's Juste un Clou. Hardwear-inspired jewellery that was born from attitude and a cultural revolution that advocated anti-conformism, the humble nail has come to represent a bold and radical credo, made all the more palpable in our era of millennials. Given life by Aldo Cipullo — the designer behind another legend a.k.a the Cartier Love — in the 1970s, the luxe utilitarian silhouette now launches new renditions to its lineup, repurposed as a stunning torque that wraps around the neck.

Cartier Juste un Clou

Closely fitted, the choker-style Juste un Clou is a statement piece that flaunts unadulterated chic and emblematic luxury, layered with a sense of grit warranted to make maximum impact. Crafted in white, yellow and pink gold metals, including a fully diamond-paved iteration, the collection now comes full circle with these sublime additions. Together with an accompanying oversized bracelet that magnifies the shape of the original Clou bangle, accented with touches of brilliant diamonds, Cartier once again redefines what it means to be an original style rebel.

The new Juste un Clou additions will be available in Cartier boutiques from April.
