How they got started: Lim and Loh met at a local advertising agency, where they worked on TVCs and radio and print ads as a copywriter and art director respectively. In 2006, the duo put their careers on hold and embarked on their fashion journey — starting out with a store selling T-shirts at Far East Plaza; the beginning of their co-designed unisex label, Depression.  

Notable achievements:
Depression has presented at Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week Berlin and Seoul Fashion Week. Celebrities spotted wearing Depression include Zhang Ziyi, Kat Von D and Adam Lambert. 

Something you might not have known about them: Their very first store at Far East Plaza was the size of the storeroom of their current space, SECTS SHOP by Depression. Other than designing for their own unisex label, Lim and Loh also own a multi-label store retailing a curation of up-and-coming and established brands such as R.Shemiste, Underground and Trasher.
