Tumi's spring 2019 features Lenny & Zoë Kravitz in the Bahamas alongside the all-new Alpha 3 collection
Name a cooler father-daughter duo than Lenny and Zoë Kravitz, we'll wait. Tumi opens spring 2019 with the iconic music legend and actor, and his famous mini-me. The global campaign was captured in the Bahamas — also aptly where the roots of the Kravitz fam was established. Citing the significance of a luggage being an extension for one's home re their hectic travelling schedules, the heartwarming film project also pays homage to their heritage and honoring tradition and family values that transcends generations.
"To me, this campaign is about connecting with ourselves, our roots, and with each other," says Zoë Kravitz. "I loved working with Tumi and the idea of telling a story about travel, family and connecting with one's roots. It was amazing to travel to the other side of the island for my first time to see where my family originated from and to pay respect to our elders and those who came before us — to experience that with my father was monumental."
The leading American luggage brand also celebrates the launch of their new Alpha 3 collection. The remastered version of its iconic Alpha retains the ballistic nylon material (which has since transformed the travel market with its extremely sturdy and durable material), while introducing new features such as an integrated USB power port installed in each of the carry-on sizes, leather rain flap on bags and dual-coil security zippers.
