Qatar Airways' QSuite is set to change the face of Business Class travel
Qatar Airways does not do things by halves. When they said their new Business Class experience was going to be revolutionary, they weren't just dropping another buzzword in the world of luxury travel.
Come June this year, the Middle Eastern carrier will begin retrofitting its Business Class cabins with the QSuite concept — one which sees private suite-like pods fitted with privacy panels that stow away, allowing travellers in adjoining seats to form their own double bed and private room.
Flying in a group of four? A unique seating configuration for parties of four will allow travellers to dine face-to-face as they would at a restaurant — one that's 35,000 feet in the air. Adding to the social element is the introduction of sharing plates made available throughout the flight.
Qatar Airways isn't stopping at seats that feature hand-stitched Italian leather and satin rose gold finishing. A newly inked partnership with The White Company sees Business Class travellers pampered with cotton sleeper suits and amenity kits filled with products from Italy's Castello Monte Vibiano Vecchio. With an award-winning inflight entertainment platform updated with over 3,000 entertainment options, those who can't get some shut-eye will find themselves well occupied.
