Looking to up the ante for movie nights? The prowess of this mean machine belies its impossibly thin frame

CES 2016, the annual tradeshow for consumer electronics and technology is now in full swing, which means all your favourite tech brands are finally revealing all the uber cool products you can expect to get your hands on this year.

Headlining this year's slew of product launches is LG's latest OLED TV. LG might already be leading the pack in the OLED TV segment, but the South Koreans aren't resting on their laurels. With their spanking new 77-inch OLED G6 model, you can look forward to watching your movies on 4K HDR-enabled technology that surpasses any type of TV display by miles. Case in point? This sleek TV is able to project over a billion colour possibilities.

With this TV, you don't even need to invest in state-of-the-art speakers. It comes equipped with a soundbar (fitted with extra woofers) co-developed with audio experts Harmon Kardo. Talk about ringing in the full works.

For a TV boasting ultra-thin 2.57mm OLED panels, it certainly is the David in this market of Goliaths.

Available globally from March 2016.
