#TechThursday: You can now upload multiple photos and videos in each Instagram post
What do you do if you've captured 10 photos of your cat and all of them are equally dope? With Instagram's latest feature update, you can very well post all 10 photos of Mr. Mistoffelees for your fellow crazy cat ladies to swoon over. Instead of occupying multiple tiles in your photo feed, the photos will appear as a gallery within a single post. You simple swipe right and left to browse the collection of photos. This feature applies to videos as well.
To access this new function, simply look out for the new icon when you're uploading content to your feed. This will allow you to select up to 10 photos and videos and change the order of their appearance. You can choose to apply a filter to the entire set of photos and videos or edit each entry individually. The only catch? The photo set can only run with a single caption and must be cropped to fit the classic Instagram square.
This update is available as part of Instagram version 10.9 for iOS in the Apple App Store and for Android on Google Play.
