Rimowa and Bang & Olufsen drops a limited edition set of Beoplay H9i headphones
There are many things we value in life that could warrant a significant amount of spending. Some splurge on It bags of the season, some splurge on a rambunctious night of booze, and others deem a hardy tech device justified for a big purchase.
Like Bang & Olufsen's latest baby with collaborator Rimowa — where the two luxury brands joined hands to co-create, or perhaps the correct word is to rejig the Beoplay H9i. Granted it's priced at $1,280 — a tad higher than the average B&O tech — armoured with authentic and long-lasting materials such as anodised aluminium as well as real leather.
The aluminum aspect comes on deliberate, in a signature Rimowa fashion. Same can be said for its accompanying aluminium case, branded in a steely shade of grey. And of course, expect the typical rich B&O sound, active noise cancellation and touch interface from this sleek product.
Perhaps a new investment piece to twin with your existing Rimowa suitcase? You could always use noise-cancelling headphones while flying anyway.
