Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 brings self-lacing technology into Southeast Asia
First launched in 2016, the Nike HyperAdapt blew away sneakerheads and sci-fi geeks with its groundbreaking self-lacing technology known to exist only in the fictional realms of Back To The Future II. Previously only accessible to Nike+ members, the brand is now making this legendary pair available to its cult following in Southeast Asia this April.
Powered by an underfoot-lacing mechanism, the HyperAdapt 1.0 proposes a revolutionary solution to individual idiosyncrasies in lacing and fit preferences. The E.A.R.L (Elector Adaptive Reactive Lacing) self-lacing systems works to provide a snug, contoured fit, giving athletes full control over lockdown with just the touch of a button. This means you can finally say goodbye to the undue pressures of too-tight laces and accidental slipping from loose laces.
The Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 launches in three new colourways – olive flak/black-orange peel-sequoia, black/white and white/pure platinum. If you're keen on giving it a go, trialling sessions will be available at Dover Street Market Singapore from 12 to 14 April, from 11am to 8pm daily.
The Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 is priced at $999 and available at NikeLab Dover Street Market.
