The Huawei Mate 10 Series proves to be its most intelligent one yet
'Tis is definitely the season for smartphones releases. The latest competitor in the market to give the iPhone X a run for its money? Meet Huawei's newest Mate 10 Series, which comprises of the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro.
Featuring a stunning wide bezel-less display and a sleek all-glass rear to boot, both the Mate 10 and the Mate 10 Pro are undoubtedly easy on the eyes. But beyond appearances, the Mate 10 series is powered by a formidable chip, known as the Kirin 970, a.k.a the AI (Artificial Intelligence) system. It offers a feature called NPU (Neural Processing Unit), which supposedly enables the speed of artifically intelligent queries.
For instance, if you're scrolling through your Instagram feed and get a Whatsapp notification, the phone will automatically suggest splitting screens so that you can have the ability to multi-task. Having dinner in a dimly-lit restaurant? Your phone will advise you to turn on eye-comfort mode. Think of it as less of a computing device, but leaning towards functioning like a human brain. Smart, savvy, and intuitive.
Another cool feature is its signature Leica dual cameras, which now encompasses a whopping 12-megapixel capture, optical image stabilisation, as well as the world's largest aperture of f/1.6. We definitely foresee more high-quality, arty photographs from the Mate 10 series.
What sets the Mate 10 Pro apart from the Mate 10, is its astonishing waterproof ability. Huawei estimates that you can take it up to 1.5 metres underwater for 30 minutes. Going for a quick swim? Don't forget to take your Huawei phone with you.
The Huawei Mate 10 series is now available for preorder on Lazada.
