You can now experience 'true HD' sound streaming at home with this Harman speaker
Home audio systems haven't quite been just home audio systems these days. There's always something extra that takes away the focus of crisp, clear sound ambience, whether it be voice-activated assistants or their wicked ability to float on water. So we thought it's about time that we circled back to the simpler pleasures of an eargasmic sound system in your home.
Enter Harman Kardon's latest Omni series, refreshed in a line-up of three speakers — the Omni 10+, Omni 20+ and Omni 50+. Boasting a whopping 24 bit/192kHz HD audio, the speaker can instantly breathe life into any room at your humble abode. This is what 'true HD' sounds like. Needless to say, it's easy on the eyes — which makes it the perfect accessory to your kitchen counters or coffee tables.
Easy streaming can be done in a jiffy, thanks to the Dual Band Wi-Fi capabilities as well as Bluetooth support, linking you with a host of streaming services like Google Cast for Audio, Spotify, MixRadio and Tidal. You can also store any local content on your device via the Harman Kardon Controller App.
If we had to choose one, it will probably be the Omni 50+, and not just because it's the biggest. The speaker is the only one out of the series to comprise of a rechargeable battery that can last up to five hours. It is also conveniently splash-proof so you won't have to freak out if one of your guests ever decides to spill a drink.
Want to turn your living room into a makeshift cinema? You certainly can, with the Omni Bar+ sound bar, which supports full 5.1 sound wirelessly. To take things up a notch — especially with action films like the Avengers, you can link it up with any Omni speakers to attain your very own home theatre.
