Google Pixel Buds 2 review: New upgrades and features coming your way
After almost three years in the making since their first generation of wireless earphones, the new Google Pixel Buds have arrived. And we got to admit, the long wait came with its own set of expectations, silently promising new and improved features that were sorely missing from its debut.
However with a plethora of choices in the market today, how do we know this is the right one for us? Well, for starters, they're a lot more comfortable with more adaptive sound for a better auditory experience.
Boasting a brilliant all-around sound system that doesn't compromise on environmental sounds, the new Google Pixel Buds fit perfectly within your ears to deliver quality sound while keeping you alert. The microphones on this bad boy(s) are also phenomenal to boot, so you won't have to worry about muffled calls. The most impressive feature though, is its access to Google Assistant via voice control. Not only can you get an adaptive, comfortable sound with a low-profile design, you can also start your workout music, send a quick reply or even look things up with a simple "Hey Google." Real-time translation on Google Translate is also available via voice control. You can do all that without even touching your phone.
What's more: they've got better battery life than most other wireless earphones. Who wants to have their earphones die on them while only halfway on that train commute? With up to five hours of listening time on a single charge, we're confident that you can definitely add a few extra songs to your favourite playlist.
Don't sweat it when it comes to how waterproof these are, either. For the athletic ones, rest assured that these earphones are water and sweat-resistant, so rainy days and/or sweaty workouts won't ever be a problem.
Also, no discrimination coming from an Android product. Pair these with your Apple devices, and while you might be losing out on a few features, you can plug into your own happy place sans any troubleshooting issues.
