Google Assistant's latest upgrade makes your hectic schedule easier to navigate
If you're not fully sold on the whole idea of having a Google Assistant, its latest upgrade might just change your mind. Especially if you're starting to feel just a little overwhelmed by your day's worth of events.
Bills to pay, meetings to plan around, anniversaries to remember... our feeble brain can only encompass so much. This is where the Google Assistant comes in: a nifty pocket app that basically works like your personal secretary. Except this secretary doesn't own a personal life or ever burn out.
Its new upgrade, known as the "visual snapshot", boasts a swift fleet of proactive suggestions and personalised information to help you stay on top of your day. Tapping on your recent interactions with the Assistant, time of day and current location, the app will display a sleek overview of what your day looks like.
Travel commutes show up front and centre, just so that you give yourself enough time to get yourself to your next appointment. As you scroll down, you'll see your daily agenda, reminders, restaurant reservations etc. Flight delayed or a package coming your way? You're notified instantly. This means being one step ahead of your demanding schedule.
Suddenly, Mondays don't seem so daunting anymore.
