Bang & Olufson taps on legendary filmmaker David Lynch in an exclusive speaker collab
Any self-proclaimed film buff would term David Lynch as one of the top legends in cinematic history. The man responsible for Mulholland Drive and Twin Peaks, and probably the birth of many other directors in hopes of attaining his excellence in the career of filmmaking.
We attest to it, and so does Bang & Olufsen. The luxury Danish brand joins hands with the cult-classic director and artist (a self-proclaimed regular patron of the audio house), in a special speaker collection. All products adorn artwork by Lynch — namely selected images and details from his 'War Between the Shapes' series dated from the 1970s and the "Paris Suite" lithographs created in 2007 at the renowned Idem studio.
A series crafted for the devotees for sure. The artwork will take on the form of the iconic Beoplay A9 — a powerful music streaming system, Beosound Shape — a wall-mounted wireless speaker system, Beoplay M5 and portable speaker Beoplay P2. All of which serves different functions for varying scenarios; but individually marked with the midas touch from Lynch.
