Bang & Olufsen's latest collection of earphones and speakers are available in millennial approved hues
Earth, wind and fire
If the latest iPhone XS and XR releases aren't proof that varietal colours are making a sweeping statement over the hardy world of tech, this collection from Bang & Olufsen ought to do it. As failproof as black, blue and white may sound, there's such a thing as playing it too safe. Even when it comes to your gadgets.
Heeding design cues from interior design trends, the runways, and last but not least — the ancient city of Marrakech, the German luxury audio house has dreamed up their very own autumn/winter 2018 palette. First off, a rich dark plum shade, inspired by souks, ancient ceramic pots and Moroccan carpets. Next, terracotta — essentially the reddish brown finish off the walls, tiles, clay and spices found in the city. And lastly, limestone, as seen on vast sand dunes and that cinematic light in the desert.
These seasonal colours might be sparked off by trends, but are hues that will remain to be timeless staples. They will take on Bang & Olufsen's leading devices, namely the Beoplay E6, Earset, Beoplay H9i and Beoplay P6. Whether it be a pair of rust-coloured wireless headphones or an iridescent portable speaker, you wouldn't find any trouble pairing it with your lustrous everyday ensemble as well as your kaleidoscopic living room. Let's just say we've never seen a more covetable sheen.
