Born from a meeting of two great Italian brands, the Vespa 946 Emporio Armani is an understated stunner

First seen on film in A Roman Holiday, the Vespa is an iconic symbol in pop culture. It's now set to make its mark in the fashion industry as the Piaggio group and Giorgio Armani team up to design its modern counterpart.

Launched in celebration of the Piaggio Group's 130th birthday and Giorgio Armani's 40th anniversary, the Vespa 946 Emporio Armani is a unique combination of both companies' suave aesthetics. Hues of grey skin the body of the vehicle, occasionally flashing understated accents of green under certain light conditions.

Style and substance match up for this two-wheeler, as aluminium cylinder blocks and brown-leather finishes complement its four-stroke electronic injection engine. The environmentally conscious can breathe easy too; enhanced fuel economy and reduced emissions make this Vespa green in more ways than one.

To seal the deal, an exclusive Emporio Armani capsule collection will be launched alongside this limited edition Vespa. Both the vehicle and the collection are set to launch this month in selected countries.
