PS.Cafe Shanghai: The local F&B group opens its first international outlet in Xintiandi Plaza
Not that we have noticed, but there are currently ten undeviating PS.Gourmet group establishments sprawled across our city. And the eleventh outpost of our homegrown brand, PS.Cafe debuts for the first time on foreign grounds — in none other than Shanghai, within the brand new Xintiandi Plaza.
Replete with the true to type aesthetics we've grown fond of (i.e. statement floral displays, colonial floor tiles and bespoke furniture), the spacious outfit will come hand in hand with an expansive outdoor garden terrace. Almost like a befitting ode to our humble garden city.
Apart from the trusty PS.Cafe favourites, the menu will showcase the wonders of local hawker fare. Dishes like chicken rice and chili crab and prawn should do the trick. On the non-Asian frontier, comes exclusives like lobster and shrimp mac and cheese as well as chicken cacio e pepe. As for as decadent desserts go, they will serve a specially curated ginger sticky date pudding, a hybrid of the sticky date and ginger pudding back in Singapore. Not going to lie — we're slightly envious of these gourmet delights.
Beyond that, comes a carefully curated bar list of spicy cocktails like the Hot Lychee Martini and assorted craft beers and lagers. We also spotted the likes of Tiger Beer making a cheeky appearance. Something tells us this space is about to blow up big time on Weibo.
PS.Cafe Shanghai is now open and located at No. 11, 3rd Floor, Xintiandi Plaza, No. 333 Huaihai Middle Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai 200021, China
Opening hours: 10am-10pm
