Mumm’s the word with the world’s first connected magnum bottle
Ring in the new year with G.H. Mumm’s new connected champagne bottle
Popping bottles might be a little passé, but this new creation from G.H. Mumm gives the trend a whole new meaning. Produced in collaboration with French DJ David Guetta, the brand is introducing the world's first connected magnum, where RFID technology tracks the moment a cork is popped on a bottle, signalling for the lights in the club to illuminate your table. The sleek bottle heralds the moment where innovation meets the glitz of nightlife.
If you've ever seen a Formula One race, you'll know the classic podium scene: The trophies are raised and champagne is duly sprayed for the winner. That moment forms the inspiration behind the bottle, and we're all for the celebration.
To kick off the release of this new magnum, they're hosting a slew of parties where sensory stimulation is taken to the next level. Nightclub TRACE will do the honours as hosts. Aptly named 'Spark, Ignite Celebration', the series will kick off on 18 December. If you need a little bit of pre-gaming before that, give the re-release of Guetta's track 'Bang My Head' – featuring Sia and now Fetty Wap – the rounds on your playlist.
