MINI Extraoddinary: A weekend of arts and culture on the lesser known streets of Katong and Joo Chiat

Spatial exploration

We live in a city where space is a luxury. But what we're really missing is mastering the trick of using it to our advantage. British automotive MINI concurs; and presents an insightful weekend pop-up in the lesser known alleyways and corners of Katong and Joo Chiat.

Fronting the creative use of space, arts and culture take centre stage in a multifarious collection of works by street photographer Aik Beng Chia, yarn artist Adeline Loo, boutique recording sutdio Affixen and more. You'll find the most underrated and unused areas being transformed into the most visionary and functional spaces.

From a communal swing (worthy of a shoutout on Instagram), a mini croquet court perfect for a cheeky tournament with your pals, to a backyard tea bar to chill out and rub shoulders with other explorers, this journey will widen your perspective of the many nooks and crannies in this charming enclave. Don't forget to take home your very own MINI Extraoddinary postcard — crafted from a stamping station made from a window. It's time to widen your horizons this weekend.
