#FirstClassFriday: Lamborghini reveals one of its most powerful cars ever built
Need for speed
At 2.2 million pounds, the Lamborghini Centenario Roadster ranks as one of the priciest supercars to hit the road. But even if you had the loose change to spare, you won't find the chance to drive off with one of these cool rides. Only 20 of them will be built — and all of them have been sold.
It isn't difficult to see why this supercar convertible is in high demand. It boasts a 760bhp naturally aspirated V12 engine, proving to be one of the most powerful Lamborghinis ever built. With plenty of high-rev power and a four-wheel-steering system complemented by the car's sharp aerodynamic curves, the Lamborghini Centenario Roadster pays homage to what would have been the hundredth birthday of the Italian automobile's founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini.
Lookswise, the open-top ride sports low overhangs in the front and rear, clean surfaces, and a silver skin specially developed for the Centenario Roadster. Step into the car and you'll find its luxe interiors touched with suave leather inlays.
