Guide to Bukit Panjang Singapore: Stephanie Dogfoot on the best foods, attractions, and hidden gems in the neighbourhood

Cashew digs

Text: Janice Sim

Bukit Panjang might seem like a domain too broad to narrow down, but overlooking this region in the West will probably be a mistake for most of us (mostly Easties). Because in this predominantly residential area, you'll have a slew of nature trails, verdant drives, historical murals and artefacts to explore. To take us through all of that, is proud resident Stephanie Dogfoot (also known as Stephanie Chan), local poet and comedian.

In our latest episode of Neigbourhood Guides, she enlightens us on the Cashew enclave, where's good for fish head curry, and where to go if you're too sick of Singapore. All of this enabled by the dapper Volkswagen Touareg.
