Life at Buro 24/7 Singapore is an exhilarating rollercoaster ride, and we now find ourselves careening into our third year. Daily drops of insightful stories aside, we've been attending events, filming videos, building microsites, hosting Buro Socials, and networking in our latest pop-up office — Straits Clan.

In the midst of all the commotion, comes round one of our favourite times of the year — yes, it's time for our annual Buro 24/7 Digital Awards, where we aim to discern the cream of the crop in the digital world. We've re-jigged our categories to broaden our network of nominees, based on the topics that matter to both us and yourselves. Say goodbye to the Singapore male and female digital influencers and CSR-driven digital campaign categories, and welcome the new ones for 2018. We can't wait to see who clinches the award for Best Fashion-Forward Feed, Most Inspiring Travel Feed, Most Creative Feed, Best Social Changemaker, and Best Digital Start-Up.

Who's made an impact on your life and deserve to take home these awards? Well, you decide — all you have to do is scroll through the nominees (from left to right) in each category, and click to vote.

*UPDATE* Voting has now closed. Thank you for your votes, and we look forward to announcing the winners at our Buro Digital Awards ceremony on 15 August 2018.

D. BEST SOCIAL CHANGEMAKER

1. PushPullGive | Fitness for a good cause
Synopsis: Fuelled by a common passion for fitness and helping children and youths in need, PushPullGive is a social enterprise that raises funds through organising exercise classes. They started out by working with Tiny Toones, a Cambodian non-profit organisation that provides shelter and education for Phnom Penh's street kids. The co-founders of PushPullGive ran fitness bootcamps, yoga, and dance classes over three months and successfully raised $5,000 for Tiny Tones from its various participants.

2. Modvlar Events | Networking and music platform
Synopsis: Modvlar Events was born out of a love for music and a realisation that many young music talents and ravers were suppressed by the mainstream partying culture in Singapore. The platform aims to provide a brand-new arena for uprising DJs and ravers in Singapore and to embrace lesser-known genres such as techno and dubstep. Most recently, Modvlar Events organised a rave, titled PLUR Vibration, aimed at raising awareness for mental health issues.

3. The Social Co. | A think-tank that solves social issues
Synopsis: Powered by the National Youth Council, The Social Co. aims to redefine and correct misconceptions of what "doing good" means. Through a series of programmes, social enterprises, and activities, they aim to challenge conventional mindsets about giving it forward with an active strategy. Some of their movements include '50 for 50', which encourages youths to creatively raise funds for lesser-known charities.

4. Anothersole | Shoes with a wider impact on the world
Synopsis: With their #Buy1Feed1 ethos, a portion of Anothersole's proceeds will go toward buying food supplies and funding sustainability for underfunded orphanages. Each pair of shoes is made of natural products, which has a smaller environmental impact. Their current milestone? To raise $1 million for the various charities they work with.

5. The Luxe Nomad | Luxury villa booking portal
Synopsis: The Luxe Nomad is a luxury villa booking portal with over 1,500 listings in 33 destinations, and they also own a villa management arm in Bali. Founder Stephanie Chai has a history of looking out for the environment, from active involvement in Kuala Lumpur's Earth Hour campaign to running recycling programmes. Her latest project? Bringing Seabins to Hong Kong's waterways in a bid to reduce plastic waste at sea. Each villa that The Luxe Nomad manages also houses recycled glass bottles for drinking water, #iamnotplastic drinking straws and bags, and paraben-free toiletries.

E. BEST DIGITAL START-UP

1. Style Theory | Clothing rental subscription
Synopsis: This monthly subscription service allows you to pick out three designer clothing items of your choice — from statement dresses to professional workwear — and it'll be shipped to you in a box all dry-cleaned, pressed, and ready for wear. When you're ready for your next three styles, select a return time slot and they'll pick up your box. The best part? There's no limit on how many times you can rent in a month.

2. Delegate | Event vendors for any occasion
Synopsis: Delegate is a free-to-use online platform that allows you to browse event inspirations, compare event vendors and packages, and book event services instantly. Their mission? A one-stop destination to help you plan an event in the shortest time possible — with the right vendors to hire and over 20,000 handpicked inspirations.

3. Bundies | Online underwear retailer
Synopsis: The aim for Bundies from the start was to sell online, because removing the middlemen from the equation meant offering products at a lower price. After much market research and extensive product testing, Bundies was born — a concept that enables you to buy your favourite underwear anywhere and have them delivered to your door. There's also a subscription option, which sends you undies at a special price every one, two, or three months. The brand also prides themselves on using sustainably sourced materials, such as lenzing modal and 100% organic cotton.

4. Alcheme | Bespoke skincare prescription
Synopsis: Alcheme's focus is bringing you personalised botanical skincare concocted from the finest ingredients. Employing French expertise combined with cutting-edge technology, you're first guided through an online skin consultation, where you take a selfie, answer a few simple questions, and address your skin priorities. Working an algorithm that susses out your skin issues, Alcheme will whip up a serum, emulsion, and soon-to-launch eye serum formulated exclusively for you.

5. Iuiga | Home essentials at transparent prices
Synopsis: Frustrated with the lack of a middle ground and excessive markups on home products, Iuiga provides an alternative to quality essentials (such as kitchen essentials and wardrobe storage) at an affordable price. They work directly with Original Design Manufacturers — who also produce for international brands, like Sephora, Muji and Samsonite — to create thoughtfully-designed everyday goods at completely transparent prices.
