Ground Zero's second studio at China Square Central: From a new strength class to top-notch facilities
New beginnings
Since opening their first studio in Carpenter Street, Ground Zero is moving on to bigger and better things. Starting with a second expansive outlet at China Square Central, which boasts a space three times larger than its first. Think an inviting entrance, a futuristic hallway, new facilities, and even a shake stand.
All spin (Ride) classes from the outlet at Carpenter Street will be relocated here, with the former conducting only Rumble classes (a boxing-HIIT session). Apart from the Ride room that sees 42 brand new bikes, there's also a new strength class (titled Resistance) in session. Setting the stage for an intensive 45-minute workout — you'll find a wide range of equipment from TRX, assault bikes, dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, slam balls, and rowers in the Resistance room. This class is designed to work your entire body, as you move from station to station under the guidance of the trainer.
There's also three separate sessions within the Resistance room to choose from: Build, Endurance and Showdown. In Build, you will work on the foundation of all movements through periodic spurts of interval training designed to get you warmed up. Endurance works on your mental and physical stamina to hold out through longer cardio spurts. Finally put whatever you have learnt to the test in a friendly competition with fellow fitness enthusiasts, aptly named Showdown. Here, you can gauge your personal fitness growth and push yourself to steadily climb the leaderboard.
Post-workout is where you'll find the bathrooms equipped with the best amentities. Shower stalls are stocked with Ashley & Co. hair and body products and the mirrors are granted crème de la crème Dyson hairdryers and even an Iuiga hair straightener. On your way out, don't forget to refuel by grabbing a shake from their very own shake bar. Welcome to Ground Zero 2.0.
