Even on the cusp of fear and anxiety, the circuit breaker has shown us one good thing — at the very least. That we're adaptable beings — working hard to make the most of our circumstances, even if that means being homebound. And while our weekly meetings are still proceeding without a hitch or a glitch (God bless Zoom), so should our physical activity. Take it from us, working up a sweat can ease the cabin fever or pent-up frustrations aggravated by your new desk buddy (a.k.a. the person you married). Hence, our virtual party — Buro. Hangouts — will go on. Yes, since our major launch that took place last month, we will be consistently serving up experiences online every Saturday — across the various tropes of beauty, fashion, fitness, wellness, culture, and more.

This 18 April, you are cordially invited to a digital barre class by Jasmine Chong, owner of Lab Studios (Yoga Lab and Barre Lab), which will specially focus on the thighs and glutes. Turns out, an intensive barre session can still be accomplished sans the premise of a studio aligned with actual bars. In this special session by Chong, all you need is a chair for support. And to make this a tad bit more meaningful in trying times like these, this is a pay-as-you-wish session in support of vulnerable individuals and families, which include healthcare and frontline workers impacted by COVID-19. Any sum would make a difference — we could all afford to spread forth love and light in this season. All attendees will also be gifted a complimentary OHC Global TeleHealth Session (worth $107) at Orchard Health Clinic.
