Stop everything, it's World Pizza Day. Celebrated annually on 9th February, the world comes together to share their love for the doughy favorite; a blank canvas for an onslaught of tantalising toppings and various styles of crusts. We did the legwork, to bring you our favourites on this special day.

LINO

Try LINO's signature classics like the Burrata — a base of passata (uncooked tomato purée), slow roasted cherry tomatoes, basil and topped with an entire ball of burrata cheese. Another favorite is the mixed mushroom that features a trio of mushrooms (Fior Di Latte, Fontina, Taleggio), made complete with a generous dose of truffle cream.LINO

Amò

Leave it to the Italian eatery and bar to serve up the goods. Their classic and signature pizzas are light, deliciously doughy and won't leave you feeling heavy after, thanks to the natural leaven and temperature-controlled leavening. Start off with the friarielli, pancetta, pumpkin and smoked mozzarella rendition, where sweet pumpkin meets the saltiness of the pancetta. Also try the moreish bone marrow, wild garlic pesto and anchovy salsa verde for a delectable mix of textures and flavours. If you're keen to make it your own, Amò sells DIY pizza kits.

La Braceria Pizza & Grill

You know you're in good hands when your Italian place has been awarded the Ospitalita Italiana plaque — a form of recognition by the Italian government to Italian restaurants all over the world. Although they serve up your regular Italian staples such as pasta and cut meats, their pizzas take the spotlight with a choice of either red (tomato based) or white pizzas (addition of mozzarella). Their crusts have the hallmarks of a good example — light and elastic on the inside and slightly charred on the outside. Accompany it with toppings that range from grilled vegetables to your favorite cut meats, and we might have a winner here.
