But what many are unaware of (while being blinded by the salivating thought of ice cream and waffles), is that behind the bustling café, is a dedicated confectionary.
Named 'The Sweets of Sunday Folks', they offer a selection of quality desserts and sweets — some of which make up the handcrafted toppings that you see served on your scoop of Sunday Folks' soft serve. Everything is prepared in small batches daily in their on-site kitchen.
And with the festive season just around the corner, the team has launched a range of home-baked cakes and local handcrafted sweets that are perfect for holiday gatherings. Putting a modern spin on the traditional fruit cake, is their Chocolate Cointreau Fruit Cake, which uses 55.5% dark chocolate couverture and Yuletide spices, and doused with a splash of Cointreau. If you're looking for smaller treats to indulge in, pick up their indulgent truffles and crunchy chocolate slabs.
