Singapore Cocktail Festival 2019: Dates, tickets, highlights, and participating bars
Time to hydrate
If there's ever a good time to drink wonderful cocktails, it's this weekend. The annual Singapore Cocktail Festival (previously Singapore Cocktail Week) is back for its third run, and it's bigger and boozier than its previous editions.
Spread across nine days, the festival kicks off with Asia's 50 Best Bars awards ceremony on 9 May, followed by a buzzy Festival Village at Empress Lawn from 10 to 12 May, where there'll be pop-up bars, masterclasses, tasting sessions and live entertainment.
Across the city, look forward to a number of bar tours and guestshifts by international bartenders (or "mixologists", a title that most of them actually hate being called). Get the Cocktail Passport via the Sluggr app to enjoy exclusive cocktail promos while you bar-hop.
The line-up is extensive, and tagging along a chockful of official and unofficial events serving up interesting concoctions and immersive experiences. If the Festival Village isn't quite up your alley, we've handpicked a few open events we think you shouldn't miss:
