#SaturdaySessions: Uphill Ding Ding cocktail

Champagne's a given when the clock strikes 12. But as the adage goes, variety is the spice of life, and if you have room for other alcoholic fuel, a cocktail or two wouldn't hurt. So here's one for the home party, featuring beetroot for just that tiny touch of virtuousness. After all, beetroot's good for you, right? Yep. Below, a recipe from the bartenders at Zouk watering hole Red Tail. Just in time for your NYE house party.
Here's what you need
45ml Fords gin
30ml Fresh lemon juice
20ml Homemade beetroot grenadine
10ml Foro amaro speciale
How to make it:
1. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake all ingredients to combine them before fine-straining the mixture into a chilled cocktail coupe.
2. Garnish with beetroot crisps.
