#SaturdaySessions: The perfect Bond martini
Excellent choice, Mr. Bond
The first reviews for Spectre, the 24th James Bond film to hit the big screens, have started trickling in from critics in the United States. The verdict? Spectre has all the makings of a Bond flick worthy of a 007 salute. But beyond the high-octane cinematic mayhem and bevy of femme fatales, one thing remains — the Bond martini is always shaken, not stirred.
Now that Belvedere has signed on as the official vodka for Spectre, we know that legions of Bond fans will be making way in their man caves for this Polish tipple. They've even rolled out a special edition bottle sporting the iconic gun barrel and 007 gun logo. So grab one and make yourself a Belvedere Spectre 007 Martini.
Here's what you'll need
60ml Belvedere Vodka
10ml Dry vermouth
1 Sicilian green olive
5ml Sicilian green olive brine
How to make it
Gently muddle olives in base of mixing glass. Add remaining ingredients and shake hard with ice. Double strain into a chilled martini glass.
