#SaturdaySessions: Cranberry oatmeal cookies

High in vitamins C and D, cranberries are tart little berries that make their way into everything from salads to sorbets. Below, an easy way to get your cranberry fix at any time of the day.
Here's what you need
Makes 2 dozen cookies
2/3 cup butter, softened
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cups oats
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 5-ounce package of dried cranberries
How to make it
1. Preheat oven to 190 degree Celsius.
2. Using an electric mixer, beat butter or margarine and sugar together in a medium mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs; mix well. Combine oats, flour, baking soda and salt in a separate mixing bowl. Add to butter mixture in several additions, mixing well after each addition. Stir in dried cranberries.
3. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
